(Dienstauszeichnung für 12 Jahre). Instituted 19 July 1913 by King Wilhelm II. (1913-1921 issue). Constructed of gilded tombak, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central raised crown, within a laurel wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), above a number “12” in Roman numerals, within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 31.17 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
