Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Wilhelm II circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE” (“FOR BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”) inside of a laurel wreath, measuring 28.57 mm in diameter, weighing 12.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
