Württemberg, Kingdom. A Wilhelms Cross for Public Welfare
(Wilhelmskreuz). Instituted on 13 September 1915. A bronze cross pattée alisée, with the imperial crown on the 12 o’clock arm and the year 1915 on the 6 o’clock arm, the obverse centre with the cipher of King Wilhelm II within a oak wreath, the reverse centre presents blank for public welfare, within a circular oak wreath border, measuring 44.16 mm (w) x 44.26 mm (h), with laterally-pierced loop for ribbon suspension, and in very fine condition.
