Württemberg, Kingdom. An Order of Friedrich in Gold, Commander's Cross, c.1910
(Friedrichs Orden Komturkreuz). Issued 1856-1918. A Gold cross pattee with white enameled arms, and with Gold sun rays between the arms of the cross; the obverse with a Gold crowned cipher of Friedrich I within a bed of white enamels, surrounded by a ring of blue enamels, inscribed “GOTT UND MEIN RECHT” (German - God and my Honour); the reverse identical to the obverse; suspended from a period replaced double-looped ring from its period original neck ribbon; measuring 53.40 mm (w) x 53.57 mm (h); weighing 45.5 grams with its period ribbon, with enamel damage to centre obverse, otherwise in overall very fine condition.
