Germany, Heer. An Army Service Tunic, Tropical Version
(Feldbluse). A tan-coloured cotton twill construction field blouse, presenting single-breasted with four non-pleated patch pockets, with pointed pockets, displaying a total of twelve brown-painted metal buttons, six arranged down the front of the tunic, meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes, with one to each pocket, and one to each shoulder, at the neck is a single metal hook and clasp, the reverse features a 21 cm deep slit in the centre of the jacket skirt, the side panels of the tunic each have three, vertically aligned, stitched eyelets at the waistline for the belt support hooks, the straight cut sleeve cuffs have a small vertical slash to the outside seams with single fit adjustment brown Bakelite buttons, the tunic measures 40 cm across the shoulders, 61.5 cm length in the sleeves, and 73.5 cm in total length, displaying moderate wear and soiling, and is in very fine condition.
