(HJ Winteruniform). A well-preserved HJ member’s winter uniform, consisting of:
1. A tunic, constructed of dark navy blue wool. It features a turned-down collar, with shoulder flanked by loops for the addition of straps. Each cuff has a slit closing with two pebbled magnetic metal buttons for an adjustable fit. Two pleated pockets are set into the breast flaps, both opening with horizontal flaps with reinforced buttonholes meeting pebbled magnetic metal buttons. It closes with five pebbled magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap. The interior is plain and unmarked. It measures approximately 46 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 44 cm, and an overall body length of 57.5 cm. Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, it remains in an extremely fine condition.
2. A matching pair of trousers, constructed of an identical dark navy blue wool. The waistband features four belt loops, and opens at the left side with a functional metal zipper topped by two buttons. A pocket is set into the upper thigh of each leg, closing with two bakelite buttons. An additional pocket is set into the back of the upper right leg, similarly closing with a bakelite button. Intact elasticized straps emanate from each ankle. The interior features a partial grey rayon liner set around the waist. Unmarked, the trousers measure approximately 37 cm across the waist, with an inseam of 24 cm, and an overall length of 100 cm when folded on a flat surface.
Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, they remain in a near extremely fine condition.
