                A blouse constructed of a field grey cotton blend, unlined, with a lay-down collar, the front centre right bears four non-magnetic metal circular shank buttons consisting of a fouled anchor on a pebbled background, painted field grey, the front centre left bears four corresponding stitched reinforced buttoning holes, the left and right front panels bear a rectangular breast pocket, each pocket has a single pleat and pointed flaps with single stitched reinforced buttoning hole (measuring 145 mm x 160 mm), and field grey painted non-magnetic metal circular shank button with fouled anchor on a pebbled background, a 100 mm waistband sewn at the bottom, the prolonged left end of the waistband fastens to the garment with a single metal snap button, the sleeves end slightly pleated and attached to cuffs with a singular field grey painted non-magnetic metal circular shank button with fouled anchor on a pebbled background and stitched reinforced buttoning hole, the reverse is plain and bears a centred stitch where the jacket panels were sewn together, stitching of a light tan/cream thread throughout, some of the buttons are numbered and/or marked on the reverse “B&N”, “N&S 41”, “CTD 40”, and “A&S 41”, measuring 410 mm (across shoulders), 540 mm (shoulder to cuff), 530 mm (total length), unissued but some material fatigue due to age, very fine.
