A grouping of a 1957 version bronze grade DRL (German League of the Reich for Physical Exercise/Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen) sports badge with matching stick pin; the badge in silvered bronze; the obverse with an oval oak leaf wreath, with a bow on the bottom of the badge, and with “DRL” in script in the centre; vertical pinback, barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; maker marked “H. Wernstein, Jena-Lobstedt” and marked “DRGM 33918” on the reverse; the stick pin with a 49 mm long needle pin; unmarked; measuring 17 mm x 14 mm; the majority of the original silver finish on the bigger badge lost, but with enough remaining to positively identify this badge as silver grade; in overall near very fine condition.
