(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). A cross with a double-overlaid sunburst pattern with eight points; the center with a denazified Iron Cross in the center, depicting a central oak branch consisting of three leaves, within a stamped gilded circular wreath impressed with oak leaves, ribbons, and the introduction year “1941”; the inner and outer sides of the wreath feature a thin red enameled rings with a silver core in the middle; the reverse plain but with a slender pinback, with a functional hinge/catch assembly; with four rivets visible on the reverse; measuring 64.94 mm (w) x 64.63 mm (h); weighing 80.4 grams; in virtually mint condition.
