What's a max bid?

(Eisernes Kreuz 1939 1. Klasse, Entnazifiziert). A 1939 cross that has been professionally denazified and transitioned into a 1957 version cross. A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; the obverse with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering, but missing its its swastika; the core has been re-painted with a semi-glossy finish; the reverse plain, with a slender banjo style vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat catch; measuring 44.23 mm (w) x 44.46 mm (h); weighing 19.8 grams; in overall better than very fine condition.
