A mint alternative de-nazified replacement version of an Iron Cross 1939; white metal cross pattee of multi-piece construction, with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a white metal ribbed border; the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm; the reverse plain, with a vertical pinback; barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; unmarked; measuring 44.14 mm x 44.25 mm; weighing 15.4 grams; in absolutely mint condition.
