(Panzerkampfabzeichen). A pair of Panzer Assault Badges, both in 1957 version, including a Special Grade Badge for 25 Engagements, constructed of a bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number 25”, with a central Panzer IV advancing over logs, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse Panzer in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46.71 mm (w) x 55.30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Luftwaffe Panzer Badge, constructed of a blackened and silvered bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle, with a central Panzer advancing over grassy terrain, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 49.33 mm (w) x 56.62 mm (h), with minor loss of black finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
