A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a silver frame (marked “800” on the reverse) and a blackened non magnetic core; the obverse with a raised central oak branch consisting of three leaves, with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm; the reverse dated “1813” on the six o’clock arm; suspended from a double looped broad ring for suspension; with a shortened period original ribbon; measuring 48.58 mm (w) x 48.51 mm (h); weighing 28.6 grams; in virtually mint condition.
