Constructed of silvered bronze; consisting of a cross with a double-overlaid sunburst pattern with eight points; the center with a denazified iron Cross, depicting a central oak branch consisting of three leaves, within a stamped gilded circular wreath impressed with oak leaves, ribbons, and the introduction year “1941”; the inner and outer sides of the wreath feature thin red enameled rings with a silver core in the middle; the core is decorated with eight rose-cut stones; on a 45 mm long pin; measuring 16.14 mm (w) x 15.47 mm (h); in overall mint condition.
