Constructed of gilded bronze with multi- coloured enamels, consisting of a Leopold Cross with red enameled arms, the obverse with a central medallion depicting a Federal Republic-style German national eagle in black enamel on a gilded background, the reverse presents identical, the twelve o’clock arm with a fan and integral loop connecting to a hanger with its period original neck ribbon, with a functional brass buckle, unmarked, measuring 60.48 mm (w) x 71.20 mm (h), weighing 30.2 grams, accompanied by its boutonniere miniature, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, measuring 12.22 mm (w) x 12.02 mm (h), including its period original case of issue, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux blue leather exterior, the obverse lid with a gold embossed Federal Republic-style German national eagle, the interior with a white satin-type lid liner with an intact hinge cover, with a gold embossed Federal Republic-style German national eagle, with a slotted and depressed blue felt medal bed, opening with a functional magnetic metal hinge with exterior stud release, with a functional magnetic metal hinge, maker marked on obverse “C.E. Juncker, Berlin SO 36”, measuring 135 mm (w) x 145 mm (l) x 28 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
