Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central representation of an exploding sea mine, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 44.59 mm (w) x 51.84 mm (h), weighing 32.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
