Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée with red enameled arms, both the obverse and reverse with a central gilt medallion bearing a black enameled Federal Republic-style German national eagle, the twelve o’clock arm with a ribbed fan bearing an integral loop and suspension ring with a period original length of neck ribbon, the ribbon featuring an adjustable buckle, unmarked, measuring 60.33 mm (w) x 71.10 mm (h), accompanied by a boutonniere, constructed of bronze with its period original ribbon, with a butterfly clip backplate, unmarked, measuring 12 mm (w) x 9 mm (h), also accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux blue leather exterior, the exterior lid with a gold embossed Federal Republic-style German national eagle, the interior with a white satin lid and intact hinge cover, the lid liner similarly featuring a gold embossed Federal-Republic style German national eagle, with a depressed and slotted blue velvet medal bed, opening with a functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release and dual functional magnetic metal hinge, the exterior maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, BERLIN”, measuring 135 mm (w) x 145 mm (l) x 28 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
