Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of the logo of the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympic Games, perforated with two holes for rivet attachment, the reverse maker marked “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 9 cm in diameter, the obverse demonstrating moderate flecking and surface scratching throughout the enamels, with additional loss of finish to the reverse base metal, in very fine condition.
