1) A red and white enameled RAD (Reichsarbeitsdiesnt - Reich Labour Service) membership stick pin; 50 mm pin; maker marked “P. & L. - Ges. Gesh” as well as “RAD” on reverse; measuring 22 mm x 16 mm; better than fine condition. 2) A National Socialist Women’s Organization Member badge (Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft - NSF); in silvered metal with enamels; maker marked “RZM - M1/54” (Fries, Beuster & Schild, Berlin-Hohenschönhausen); measuring 30 mm x 31 mm; very fine condition. 3) German Women’s Work Membership Badge - “Deutsches Frauenwerk”; in silvered bronze and enamels; maker marked “RZM M1/102” (Frank & Reif - Stuttgart); measuring 32 mm x 30 mm; very fine condition. 4) A Pre Second War Civil Gliding Class “C” Proficiency Badge; measuring 22 mm in diameter; unmarked; near very fine condition. Footnote: The International Aeronautical Federation, awarded a series of proficiency badges to glider pilots on their successful completion of the appropriate tests and gliding trials. The "C" class certificate was awarded for the completion of a five minute solo flight without loss of altitude.
