A mixed lot of nine badges and decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 42.56 mm (w) x 46.36 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams, inclusive of ribbon), with oxidation throughout the core in fair condition; a Bavarian Military Merit Cross, III Class with Swords, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, within a stylized belt bearing an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT”) with arabesques, the twelve o’clock bearing a crossed sword clasp, the reverse bearing a central raised Bavarian lion rampant, within a stylized belt bearing an institution date of “1866” with arabesques, unmarked, measuring 41.81 mm (w) x 49.76 mm (h), weighing 20.3 grams, with verdigris evident throughout, in fair condition; a Bavarian 14. SCHERM, NÜRNBERG”, measuring 36 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Bavarian Warriors Association 25-year membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN-GIESING”, measuring 30 mm (w) x 54 m (h), in near extremely fine condition; a 1926 Nuremberg veteran’s badge, constructed of bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “C. BALMBERGER, NÜRNBERG”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Panzer Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain, with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 41.98 mm (w) x 59.94 mm (h), weighing 31.8 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in poor condition, and; a Destroyer War Badge, constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central destroyer cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse topped by a stabilizing clip, with a crimped barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Sohni, Heubach & Co., Oberstein, measuring 44.04 mm (w) x 53.67 mm (h), weighing 28.6 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in poor condition.
