A mixed lot of badges and medals, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 43.13 mm (w) x 43.86 mm (h), weighing 13.6 grams, missing its suspension loop, in fair condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse marked “G10” for an unidentified maker, measuring 37.55 mm (w) x 41.98 mm (h), weighing 13.7 grams, in extremely fine condition; a German Red Cross Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 33.20 mm in diameter, weighing 15.3 grams, in extremely fine condition; a sports competition first place award, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, maker marked “OERTEL, BERLIN, with a silver content number of “935”, measuring 41.38 mm (w) x 62.36 mm (h) (inclusive of hanger), in extremely fine condition; a Cassel (Kassel) Bundestag commemorative badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “MÜNDENER FAHNENFABRIK”, measuring 43.18 mm (w) x 60.36 mm (h), weighing 26.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Hungarian War Commemorative Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36.98 mm in diameter, weighing 23.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
