Germany. A Mixed Lot of Decorations
(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of five decorations, including five factory unfinished Honour Cross of the German Mother, all constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loops for suspension, consisting of Latin Crosses with blue and white enameled obverse arms, all bearing reverse etched institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition; a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by a bowtie ribbon, around stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a German Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie ribbon, around stylized initials “DSB”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “STEINHAUER & LÜCK, LÜDENSCHEID”, measuring 39 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
