A mixed lot of medals, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a Maltese Cross overlaid by a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.12 mm in diameter, weighing 11.0 grams, the suspension loop is missing and loss of finish is evident throughout, in overall fair condition; a Bavarian War Merit Cross, III Class, constructed of coppered bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, within a stylized belt and buckle bearing an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT”), the reverse bearing a central raised Bavarian lion rampant, within a stylized belt and buckle bearing an institution date of “1866”, unmarked, measuring 42.43 mm (w) x 46.10 mm (h), weighing 18.8 grams, the suspension loop is missing, in overall fair condition; a Hesse-Darmstadt Field Honour Decoration, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 31.46 mm in diameter, weighing 19.0 grams, in very fine condition, and; a Bavarian uniform button, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised lion rampant, the reverse with a lug, maker marked “A. SCH.”, measuring 32 mm in diameter, with oxidation evident, in overall fair condition.
