Germany. A Mixed Lot of Medals and Badges
(Medaillen und Abzeichen). A mixed lot of nine medals and badges, including a Silesian Eagle, II Class, constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension, the obverse consisting of a Silesian-style German national eagle, clutching a banner with an inscription of “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”) in its talons, overlaid by a cross and crescent moon, unmarked, measuring 31 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), with oxidation evident throughout, in fair condition; a Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenary Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; accompanied by seven assorted badge, with examples of bronze, bakelite, glass, fabric, and magnetic metal construction, in overall very fine condition.
