A bronzed metal (magnetic) cross pattée with crossed swords between the arms of the cross, the obverse inscribed with “1914/1918” within an open-ended laurel wreath, the reverse plain, maker marked with an unknown mark on the reverse, measuring 37.51 mm (w) x 37.40 mm (h), weighing 14.4 grams. 2) A Hindenburg Cross for Widows (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918 für Wittwen). A blackened metal (magnetic) cross pattee, the obverse inscribed with “1914/1918” within an open-ended laurel wreath, the reverse plain, maker marked with an unknown mark on the reverse, measuring 38.01 mm (w) x 37.77 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams. 3) A 1914/1918 Kyffhäuser Commemorative Medal, constructed of gilt bronze, the obverse inscribed “blank die Wehr, rein die Ehr”, the reverse dedicates this award to the fighters of the first war, measuring 30.93 mm (w) x 47.04 mm (h), weighing 19.4 grams. 4) A First War Period “For the Fatherland” Commemorative Medal, in bronze, the obverse depicting a triumphant soldier being crowned by a Godess, the reverse depicting an Iron Cross 1914, circumscribed by “Für’s Vaterland”, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a wreathed diagonal sword, measuring 32.41 mm in diameter, weighing 14.7, in overall good condition.
