Germany, Imperial. A Lot of Miniature German Imperial Medals
(Deutschen Medaillen). A grouping of miniature German Imperial medals including a miniature 1914 Brunswick War Merit Cross, issued 1914-1918, measuring 16 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), on loop for suspension, absent ribbon, also a medal celebrating 25th years under Karl Württemberg, the obverse featuring the right-facing bust of King Karl and his wife Olga, circumscribed by their names, the reverse inscribed with “ZUR FEIER DER SEGENSREICHEN 25 JÄHRIGEN REGIERUNG JUNI 1864-1889,” measuring 22 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, in addition to a Prussian General Honour Medal constructed of silvered bronze, obverse inscribed “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“Meritorious Service to the State”) surrounded by laurel wreath tied at the base with ribbon, reverse bears monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, unmarked, measuring 14 mm in diameter, and all items in this grouping are in very fine condition.
