Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Badges
(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A lot of three badges, including a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon overlaid by a mobile swastika, with central stylized initials “DRL” on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 38.68 mm (w) x 48.16 mm (h), weighing 17.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a Reich Labour Service of Female Youth (RADwJ) wartime service badge, constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of a mobile swastika within wheat stalks, overlaid by a banner bearing a raised inscription of “RADWJ”, the reverse with a ball hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 40.80 mm (w) x 38.26 mm (h), most of the silver finish has been lost, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a 1935 Altötting Sports Festival badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 51.28 mm (w) x 40.93 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
