1. A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.02 mm (w) x 49.11 mm (h), weighing 22.5 grams, demonstrating total loss of bronze finish in addition to some bending of the arms, in fair condition.

 

2. An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), unmarked, measuring 35.72 mm (w) x 44.40 mm (h), weighing 19.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.

 

3. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.18 mm in diameter, weighing 16.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), demonstrating edge nicks throughout, in very fine condition.

 

4. A West Wall Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a postwar replacement ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE PROTECTION OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 32.50 mm (w) x 45.58 mm (h), weighing 15.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.

 

5. A Police Long Service Award, II Class for 18 Years, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central oval medallion overlaid by an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”), unmarked, measuring 43.63 mm (w) x 47.52 mm (h), weighing 26.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.

 

6. An Italo-German African Campaign Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its original Italian-issued ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of two gladiators (symbolizing Italy and Germany) grappling with a crocodile (symbolizing Great Britain), the reverse bearing a raised depiction of the Arco dei Fileni, flanked by a fasces and swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “ITALIAN-GERMAN CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA” in both Italian and German, the obverse engraver marked “DE MARCHIS” and maker marked “LORIOLI, MILANO”, measuring 30.86 mm in diameter, weighing 13.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
