Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges
(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of six badges, including late-period NSDAP membership badges, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/103” for Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen, measuring 23 mm in diameter, with evidence of pinback repair, in very fine condition; a 1914 Iron Cross II and I Class stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a 1936 Labour Day badge, constructed of aluminum, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “OCHS & BONN, HANAU”, measuring 35 mm in diameter, in very fine condition; a 1937 National Socialist War Victim’s Care (NSKOV) Berlin meeting badge, constructed of aluminum, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; a 1939 Westmark Gautag badge, constructed of zink, vertical pinback, the reverse marked with a RZM logo and an illegible maker’s code, measuring 31 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), with significant oxidation and deterioration evident, in poor condition, and; a National Socialist People’s Welfare (NSV) badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a RZM logo and maker code “76”, measuring 17 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
