1. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, the pinback bearing an illegible maker’s mark, measuring 36.67 mm (w) x 44.32 mm (h), weighing 24.2 grams, demonstrating oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in fair condition.
2. A Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a sea mine exploding, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Karneth, Gablonz, measuring 44.62 mm (w) x 55.05 mm (h), weighing 19.7 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
3. A Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 Commemorative Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, with an integral suspension loop formerly accommodating a leather strap, the obverse bearing a central raised edelweiss, circumscribed by an inscription of “GEB. JÄG. RGT. 100”, the reverse bearing raised inscriptions featuring seven key theatres of combat in which Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 saw action, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) when oriented in intended diamond placement, in extremely fine condition.
4. A DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon overlaid by a mobile swastika, around central stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.08 mm (w) x 48.26 mm (h), weighing 17.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A 1936 Berlin Olympics Commemorative Medallion in Silver, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a raised female figure clutching an olive branch and laurel crown, circumscribed by an inscription of “ZUR EHRE DES VATERLANDES ZUM RUHME DES SPORTS” (“TO THE HONOUR OF THE FATHERLAND, TO THE GLORY OF SPORTS”), the reverse bearing a central raised bell overlaid by a German national eagle clutching Olympic rings, the rim of the bell bearing an inscription of “ICH RUFE DIE JUGEND DER WELT” (“I CALL THE YOUTH OF THE WORLD”), circumscribed by an inscription of “OLYMPISCHE SPIELE BERLIN MCMXXXVI” (“OLYMPIC GAMES BERLIN 1936”), unmarked, measuring 36.98 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
6. A small medallion, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised profile of Ferdinand von Zeppelin, flanked by name, circumscribed by an inscription of “ZIEL ERKANNT - KRAFT GESPANNT!” (“DESTINATION KNOWN - POWER INTENSE!”), the reverse bearing a raised depiction of an airship flying against a Mainz skyline, circumscribed by an inscription indicating that the medallion was issued to commemorate the 1908 flight of LZ. 4, measuring 32.91 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
