What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Abzeichen und Insignien). A lot of three badges and insignia, including:

 

1. An Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 46.95 mm (w) x 61.38 mm (h), weighing 39.8 grams, demonstrating total loss of silver finish in addition to catch repair, in fair condition.

 

2. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “65” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 37.05 mm (w) x 44.34 mm (h), weighing 30.0 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.

 

3. A Deutscher Luftsportverband (German Air Sports Association/DLB) cap badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a red enameled ring overlaid by a silvered winged propeller, in turn defaced by a black enameled mobile swastika, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, maker marked “WILH. DEUMER, LÜDENSCHEID”, measuring 70 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of silver finish to the base metal, in near extremely fine condition.
