1. A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “1” for Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 48.94 mm (w) x 48.98 mm (h), weighing 18.8 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “KRIEGS-VERDIENSTKREUZ 2. KLASSE OHNE SCHWERTER” and a maker’s mark of “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 60 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), in near mint condition.
2. A Pair of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, both constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, each consisting of a Latin Crosses with stylized sun rays joining the quadrants, the obverses of both with blue and white enameled arms, bearing central white enameled discs overlaid by black swastika, both circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of both bearing etched institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, both unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), retaining period original wax paper liners, in overall extremely fine condition.
