A mixed lot nine commemorative badges and decorations, including a Heer EM/NCO’s visor cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining one of two attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 76 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been ground out, in poor condition; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with stylized sun rays joining the quadrants, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a German Labour Front (DAF) membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze, diagonal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/47” for Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 20 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; a Reich Colonial League membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 13 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in very fine condition; a 1937 marksmanship badge, constructed of patinated zink, vertical pinback, the reverse bearing an illegible maker’s mark, measuring 28 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), with extensive oxidation evident, in poor condition; a Winterhilfswerk donor’s badge, constructed of bronze, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a social welfare badge, constructed of gilded bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 24 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Berlin German Confectioners’ Day badge, constructed of magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Winterhilfswerk Germanic folk art donor’s badge, constructed of brown bakelite, unmarked, missing its pinback, measuring 35 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
