Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Decorations
(Abzeichen). A pair of decorations, including a Waffen-SS Signals EM/NCO’s sleeve badge, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey lightning bolt, unmarked, measuring 47 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms and with its quadrants joined by an oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.94 mm (w) x 45.76 mm (h), weighing 20.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
