What's a max bid?

A pair of medals, including a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.00 mm (w) x 47.78 mm (h), weighing 22.3 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Fire Brigade Honour Cross, II Class, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a black mobile swastika, with stylized flames emanating from the centrepiece and continuing through the arms, the quadrants joined by a ring bearing an inscription of “FÜR VERDIENSTE IM FEUERLÖSCHWESEN” (“FOR MERIT IN FIREFIGHTING”), unmarked, measuring 44.15 mm (w) x 47.83 mm (h), weighing 14.6 grams, with deterioration consistent with fire damage evident, in overall fair condition.
