What's a max bid?

A pair of medals, including a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 48.12 mm (w) x 50.92 mm (h), weighing 19.6 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “KRIEGS-VERDIENSTKREUZ 2. KLASSE MIT SCHWERTERN”, maker marked “RUDOLF WÄCHTLER & LANGE”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), with radiant sun rays between the arms, the reverse with an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35.23 mm (w) x 45.48 mm (h), weighing 13.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “EHRENKREUZ DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER DRITTE STUFE” (“HONOUR CROSS OF THE GERMAN MOTHER THIRD GRADE”), with a maker’s mark of “L. CHR. LAUER, NÜRNBERG-BERLIN”, measuring 105 mm (w) x 132 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
