What's a max bid?

A pair of merit medals, including a Civil Service 25 Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.75 mm (w) x 45.77 mm (h), weighing 21.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of two pieces of card stock with a faux red leather exterior, the lid bearing a silvered embossed number “25” the interior with a slotted red felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 102 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), and; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Gold Grade, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse with an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35.91 mm (w) x 45.98 mm (h), weighing 14.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a card stock frame with a faux blue leather exterior, the lid bearing a gilt embossed depiction of the decoration, the interior with a white satin-type lid liner and a partially-intact hinge cover, with a slotted white felt medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, the lid liner maker marked “FORSTER & GRAF, SCHWÄB. GMUND”, measuring 48 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), with moderate material fatigue evident to both the interior and exterior of the case, in overall extremely fine condition.
