(Medaillen). A mixed lot of three medals, including a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER”( “ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 31.91 mm in diameter, weighing 12.6 grams, in extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.87 mm (w) x 47.88 mm (h), weighing 15.9 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in very fine condition, and; a Hungarian Bravery Medal, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Regent Miklós Horthy, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a Hungarian coat of arms above an inscription of “VITÉSZÉGÉRT” (“FOR BRAVERY”), the reverse bearing a partially-legible designer’s name, measuring 35.28 mm in diameter, weighing 20.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
