(Abzeichen und Verleihungsurkunden). An extensive lot of awards and documents to Karl Overbeck, including;

1. a Marksmanship Award document, constructed of off-white paper stock with multi-coloured ink, named to “GEFR. OVERBECK” of “STABSBATTERIE I. FLAK-REG. 7”, awarded at Wolfenbüttel on 4 November 1943 for proficiency with the Karabiner 98k rifle, measuring 435 mm (w) x 320 mm (h), the document has been folded in the centre and minor material fatigue is evident, in overall better than very fine condition.

2. An attestation paper, confirming Overbeck’s training with the regiment and affirming his character and performance, issue at Wolfenbüttel on 22 October 1938, measuring 208 mm (w) x 297 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

3. An award document for an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, dated 5 August 1942, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with some creasing and soiling evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.

4. An award document for an Iron Cross, II Class, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, dated 23 October 1943, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

5. A document for a Driver’s Proficiency Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, dated 14 December 1943, measuring 147 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), some soiling evident, in overall better than very fine condition.

6. An award document for a Wound Badge, Black Grade, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, issued in Limburg on 4 January 1945 for a wound suffered on 27 December 1944, measuring 148 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), some soiling and tearing evident, in overall very fine condition.

7. A medical transport tag, constructed of card stock with black ink, both the obverse and reverse with handwritten inscriptions, measuring 74 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), with material fatigue and creasing evident, in overall very fine condition; also including a unique medal, constructed of bronze and crafted from a 1923 Jersey 1/12 shilling coin, on loop for suspension from a period original ribbon, the obverse with an etched inscription of “SCHWERE FLAK ABT. 153”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN JAHR, JANUAR 1942” (“ONE YEAR, JANUARY 1942”), measuring 31 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
