(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of four Wehrmacht badges, including a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, unmarked, measuring 37.48 mm (w) x 44.90 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, with oxidation evident, in poor condition; a Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.35 mm (w) x 43.85 mm (h), weighing 33.0 grams, with loss of finish and oxidation evident throughout, in poor condition; a Driver’s Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, around a central steering wheel, the reverse missing all attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 40.11 mm (w) x 43.87 mm (h), weighing 8.7 grams, in very fine condition, and; a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, around stylized initials “DRL” on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, maker marked “WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 30.57 mm (w) x 48.10 mm (h), weighing 17.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
