Germany, Wehrmacht. A Lot of Badges
(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of badges, including a Krim Shield, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates “1941-1942”, unmarked, measuring 51.94 mm (w) x 61.74 mm (h), weighing 9.7 grams, with the loss of three of four reverse attachment prongs in addition to moderate loss of finish throughout, in overall fair condition; a SA Sports Badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword on top of a mobile swastika, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, maker marked “FECHLER, BERNSBACH”, measuring 46.46 mm (w) x 58.62 mm (h), weighing 18.1 grams, in better than very fine condition, and; a Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve badge, constructed of dark green rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
