(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of decorations, including a medal bar featuring a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, unmarked, measuring 43.55 mm (w) x 47.78 mm (h), and; an Italian War Service Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with a central inscription of “MERITO DI GUERRA” (“WAR MERIT”), the six o’clock arm with a sword wrapped in an oak leaf branch, the twelve o’clock arm with a monogram of King Victor Emmanuel III, the reverse with a central raised star and rays emanating through the arms, unmarked, measuring 38.20 mm (w) x 43.82 mm (h); both affixed to a 68 mm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and grey wool reverse liner, unmarked, in near extremely fine condition; an Italian-German African Campaign medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with central Arco de Fileni of Brega, flanked by a fasces and swastika, circumscribed by inscription “ITALIENISCH DEUTSCHER FELDZUG IN AFRICA” (“ITALIAN-GERMAN CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA”), reverse with raised image of German and Italian soldiers grappling with a crocodile, maker marked on reverse with “Lorioli, Milano”, measuring 30.82 mm in diameter, weighing 15.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, and; a medal ribbon bar featuring the three aforementioned decorations, set on a 70 mm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and blue wool reverse liner, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
