A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.33 mm in diameter, weighing 12.8 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A War Merit Cross, I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse of the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “62” for Kerbach & Österhelt, Dresden, measuring 48.86 mm (w) x 48.71 mm (h), weighing 17.1 grams, demonstrating loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.
3. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with LDO code “L/53” for Hymmen & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 36.52 mm (w) x 44.31 mm (h), weighing 26.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
