A lot of four service badges, including a General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 42.32 mm (w) x 52.76 mm (h), weighing 27.8 grams, the badge is missing its catch and there is loss of silver finish throughout, in overall very fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.04 mm (w) x 44.50 mm (h), weighing 13.1 grams, with moderate loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition; a DRL Sports Badge, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by stylized initials “DRL” on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “H. WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 38.62 mm (w) x 48.48 mm (h), weighing 17.1 grams, in extremely fine condition; also including an Imperial Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.08 mm (w) x 43.47 mm (h), weighing 10.6 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in overall very fine condition.
