A lot of three War Merit decorations, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.10 mm in diameter, weighing 13.6 grams, in better than very fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “1” for Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 48.73 mm (w) x 49.25 mm (h), weighing 19.3 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreath mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “55” for J.E. Hammer & Söhne, Geringswalde, measuring 48.40 mm (w) x 50.96 mm (h), weighing 20.3 grams, with most of its bronze finish lost, in overall very fine condition.
