A lot of three War Merit decorations, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939”, unmarked, measuring 31.97 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams, in better than very fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronzed zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “15” for Friedrich Orth, Vienna, measuring 48.18 mm (w) x 49.46 mm (h), weighing 14.0 grams, in better than very fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 48.38 mm (w) x 51.08 mm (h), weighing 21.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
