Germany, Wehrmacht. A Lot of Wehrmacht Service Medals
(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A group of three Wehrmacht service medals, including an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), topped by a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 36.35 mm (w) x 44.37 mm (h), in very fine condition; a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central mobile swastika inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a central date of “1939” inside of an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 47.73 mm (w) x 48.45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross, I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered feinzink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, of identical appearance, measuring 48.28 mm (w) x 49.36 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
