1. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939”, unmarked, measuring 32.15 mm in diameter, weighing 12.6 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.05 mm (w) x 47.90 mm (h), weighing 20.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.71 mm (w) x 47.90 mm (h), weighing 21.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
4. An Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with the logo of Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid, measuring 47.63 mm (w) x 62.47 mm (h), weighing 34.6 grams, demonstrating loss of finish and minor oxidation throughout, in very fine condition.
5. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription fo “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.28 mm in diameter, weighing 16.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), demonstrating loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
