A mixed lot of five decorations, including a West Wall Medal, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a raised pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), umarked, measuring 33.24 mm (w) x 45.42 mm (h), weighing 14.2 grams, with total loss of bronze finish and some oxidation evident, in fair condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a raised mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, the reverse bearing an illegible maker’s mark, measuring 36.99 mm (w) x 44.07 mm (h), weighing 13.5 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in poor condition; a second Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, unmarked, measuring 36.24 mm (w) x 44.21 (h), weighing 12.0 grams, the obverse swastika has been ground out and there is loss of finish throughout, in poor condition; a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), measuring 31.97 mm in diameter, weighing 11.8 grams, the suspension loop is missing and there is oxidation throughout, in fair condition, and; a Kriegsmarine commemorative ring, constructed of silvered zink, the exterior bearing a raised fouled anchor, unmarked, measuring 24 mm in total diameter, with loss of finish throughout, in fair condition.
