A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, unmarked, measuring 32.25 mm in diameter, weighing 12.7 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.50 mm (w) x 48.90 mm (h), weighing 17.6 grams, in near mint condition.
3. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41.87 mm (w) x 53.09 mm (h), weighing 33.8 grams, retaining an original wax paper liner, demonstrating loss of finish throughout with minor oxidation, in very fine condition.
